Have You Reported Your Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) Units Yet?APPI applauds those 295 regulated members who are fully compliant with their 2018 CPL requirements and the additional 519 members who have reported some units and are working towards compliance! New Planning Resources!The Resources section of the APPI website contains links to many types of learning opportunities that qualify for structured (interactive) or unstructured (viewing pre-recorded sessions, reading planning related publications) CPL units. Check out the new APPI YouTube Channel and the APPI https://www.albertaplanners.com/resources The APPI CPL program demonstrates to the public and the Government of Alberta that APPI is taking steps to ensure planning professionals are committed to ongoing professional learning and to maintaining the highest standards of skills, knowledge and professionalism. APPI encourages its members to map their CPL participation with conscious direction and alignment to their professional needs and the core competencies for the planning profession. All regulated APPI members (Registered Professional Planners and Candidate members) are required to report their CPL units for 2018, on or before December 31, 2018. APPI will NOT be mailing hard copy report cards for 2018, however, CPL compliant and non compliant letters will be emailed to all regulated members by December 1, 2018. If you need additional information pertaining to your CPL activity, or clarification about the CPL program, please contact the APPI office.
