Advocacy
APPI Advocacy Policy
APPI Council will advocate for policies or initiatives in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut that promote sound community planning and which support APPI’s mission, values, code of professional conduct, and code of ethics. It has also been determined that such advocacy can and should address the broader public interest. APPI Advocacy Policy will consider initiatives that will warrant advocacy and so assist APPI Council in determining the type, timing, and extent of advocacy that would be appropriate for each initiative.
